Magesh slams century

Udhagamandalam: R.K. Magesh scored a century in Nilgiris Cricket Club’s 144-run win over Wonder XI Cricket Club in the Canara Bank-NDCA first division league for the M.A. Chidambaram Rolling Trophy at the Laidlaw Memorial School grounds here on Tuesday.

The scores: First division: Nilgiris CC 263 (R.K. Magesh 100, S. Razzack 40 n.o.) bt Wonder XI CC 119 (D. Naveen Kumar 59, Timothy four for 18); Kents CC 224 (Amal Simon 40, D. Mallikanth 47) bt Gudalur CC 196.

Third division: Classic CC 121 (M. Goutham four for 42) lost to Riverside CA 125 for six in 27.2 overs.
