Regularisation: huge relief for applicants
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD: There is no need to submit the land market value rate certificate to apply for the regularisation of buildings and layouts.
This relief is being provided to thousands of applicants in and around the city, as the GHMC has managed to source land market value rates prevailing as on January 1, 2008 from the Stamps and Registration Department.
Earlier, applicants had to take the certificate from the sub-registrar office concerned and it used to take a day or more as computerised data was not readily available.
Sub-registrar offices were issuing such certificates with land rates handwritten.
Chief City Planner B. Purushothama Reddy said that the data was now available with GHMC and put on the website ( www.ghmc.gov.in) for easy access to applicants avoiding the need to approach a sub-registrar office.
He urged applicants for layouts to pay up Rs. 20,000 as first instalment of penal fee instead of getting bogged down with precise calculations.
