Food festival begins

Kebblers, a two-week kebabs and sizzlers food festival, began at Hotel D.V. Manor on Wednesday.

Hotel general manager Rajesh Berry said the food fest offers a range of delectable and lip-smacking kebabs known for their origin in countries like Persia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Syria, Egypt and Pakistan.

The original recipes perfected by master chefs include hunkarie kebab, kebab bhaktiari and jujeh kebab, murgh potli kebab, shish tavuk, hussani kebab, ambada gosht kebab, turkey beyti kebap, shikampuri kebab, adana kebab and mahi charmagaj and tandoori pomfret.
