Gold coins

Canara Bank launched the retail sale of gold coins today, coinciding with the occasion of Akshaya Trithiya. The coins will be available in denominations of eight and 10 grams at 18 outlets throughout the country. Chairman and managing director of the bank M.B.N. Rao said the initiative fulfils customers’ demand for “authenticated gold”.
