How the system works

Following are some of the highlights of how the AutoDCR works:

•Authorised promoters are given a log-in identity and password to log on to the web-based system from their offices and register their building/layout plans and installation of motors and machinery.

•E-forms will be available for filling up details. Some documents, however, will have to be submitted in hard copy as these are not digitised.

•On receipt of the proposal at the Facility Centre of the Corporation, the system checks whether the mandatory documents have been enclosed.

•If not on internet, the manual submission of the plan in compact disc and the enclosed hard copy documents can be made through a single window system at the centre. This will eliminate the need to approach the divisional and zonal offices of the Corporation.

•An authorised official will check for the payment made and will set the payment status of the file submitted for approval.

•The system will keep track of the movement of the application on a first come-first served basis and raise an alarm in case of delay.

•Authorities can view the status of all the applications or specific ones at any time from anywhere through the web.
