Coimbatore Kidney Centre will hold a national conference on “Anaesthesia for Renal Transplant Surgery” on May 10 and 11. A press release from the centre said on Wednesday that the meet had been organised to stress the need to improve the quality of kidney transplantation procedure. About 150 anaesthetists would participate for an update on this field, the release said. The faculty at the programme would comprise kidney specialists, transplant surgeons and anaesthetists.
