HYDERABAD: The Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) will be held today across the State with record number of students appearing for the engineering stream. The engineering test would be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the medical test from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. The EAMCET-2008 Convenor, E. Saibaba Reddy said arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the examination. He said students would be allowed into the centre premises an hour before the examination. Students who have lost hall-tickets or have not got them so far can download the hall-tickets from ww.apeamcet.org. Prof. Reddy asked the students not to come late to the venue as no one would be allowed to enter the hall once the examination starts. He said the OMR sheets would also have photographs, hall-ticket numbers and names of the candidates and they should verify twice before writing. In case of any mistakes, candidates can ask for replacement within five minutes. Any correction in name, father’s name or local status can be done on the nominal rolls available with the invigilator. The number for the Engineering stream would be taken out at the APSCHE office at 6 a.m. and for the medical stream at 10.30 a.m.
