Nominations pick up on third day

HYDERABAD: Filing of nominations picked up momentum on Wednesday, considered an auspicious day with 40 candidates filing their papers for Assembly and three for the Parliamentary constituencies.

The day saw former TDP Ministers - Mandava Venkateswara Rao, E. Peddi Reddy, M. Damodar Reddy and C. Mutyam Reddy - filing their papers in Dichpalli, Huzurabad, Kamalapur and Dommat Assembly constituencies. On behalf of TDP, B. Sanjiva Rao filed his papers from Vikarabad. Congress nominee P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy filed for Khairatabad Assembly constituency; Nayani Narsimha Reddy (TRS)submitted his papers in Musheerabad. Lok Satta nomineese filed papers in Musheerabad and Khairatabad.
