City Police in final

VISAKHAPATNAM: City Police moved into the final of Bhupathi Raju memorial football tournament, edging out Visakhapatnam Port Sports Council 5-4 in the penalty shootout after the regulation time of the semifinal ended goalless at the GVMC stadium here on Wednesday.

Police converted all its penalties through Venkat, Ramu, Balu Mahendra, Aron and Masen while Mirinda, Madhu, Bhogiraju and Ramana were successful for the port team.

City Police will meet Fort Union FC in the final on Thursday. — Special Correspondent
