FIDE Trainer Seminar concludes

CHENNAI: India received four FIDE Trainer titles after FIDE Trainer Seminar organised by the All India Chess Federation at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium concluded on Tuesday.

India also obtained seven FIDE Instructor, three National Instructor and five Development Instructor titles.

The parameters for assessment were training capacity and strength of players trained thus far.

The course was conducted by Senior Trainer and International Master Jovan Petronic of Belgrade, Serbia, and Peter Long of Malaysia.

Titles won: FIDE Trainer: Neeraj Kumar Mishra, K. Visweswaran, G.B. Joshi, and V. Hariharan. FIDE Instructor: Prasenjit Dutta, Saheli Dhar-Barua, V. Ravichandran, Mrunalini Kunte, K. Muralimohan, Santanu Lahiri, and Prasad P. Deshmukh.

National Instructor: Nitin Warde, K. Ganesan, and Avinash Malvankar. Developmental Instructor: Sanjay R. Kavlekar, Sakthi Prabhakar, N.K. Nandakumar, K. Kanna Reddy, and K.V.V. Sarma.
