Book exhibition begins

Kozhikode: An exhibition of English books by Mathrubhumi Books began at Mathrubhumi Building on Rajaji Road in the city on Thursday.

Books of many leading English publishers are available at the exhibition. Books in all genres and categories, including novels, short stories, classics, self-help, spirituality and philosophy are on display.

Up to 33 per cent discount is available on selected categories of books at the exhibition. The exhibition also showcases a variety of dictionaries from various publishers. Popular books including the Chicken Soup series of Westland Books, spiritual and self-help books from Jaico Books and Viva Books, books of Osho, fiction by Agatha Christie, Sidney Sheldon, and R.K. Narayanan and lots more are available.

Children books, including Tintin, Phantom and Asterix comics, and illustrated works of Agatha Christie are available.

The latest publications that are available include Shoba De’s new book ‘Superstar India’ and Arundhati Roy’s ‘Shape of the beast.’
