Short course in advertising

Kochi: The Cochin Advertising Club in association with the S.B. Global Educational Resource Private Limited will start a six-month course for moulding advertising professionals in the state.

The Club, on Wednesday, inked a memorandum of understanding with the S.B. Global Educational for conducting the course. The course—Certified Advertising Professional— would start on May 14.

P.K. Natesh, president of the Club and R. Balachandra,, chairman and managing director, S.B. Global, said that though the advertising sector has grown in the past few years, it faces a shortage of professionally qualified persons. The candidates would be given training in copy writing, accounts management and media relations.
