Bike rider killed as log falls on head

MALAPPURAM: A bike rider was killed in a freak accident at Thottekkad, near Nilambur, on Wednesday night. Ashraf Anapattathu, 36, from Pookkottumpadam, died when a log fell on him from a lorry. The lorry was heading towards Nilambur and Mr. Ashraf to Pookottumpadam. He died on the way to hospital.
