White Memorial Institutions

White Memorial Institutions were established and run by White Memorial Educational Society a Christian charitable Society.

The society was organized by S.D.A Christian people and it’s prime aim is to establish various professional institutions in India and abroad. Now the society runs various hospitals, schools, colleges and free medical services in rural areas amon g poor in India.

The society is running the following reputed Medical and Educational institutions namely White Memorial Homoeo Medical College at Attoor – with the affiliation of Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and approval of Central Council of Homoeopathy New Delhi,.

This college is the first private Homoeopathy Medical College in Tamil Nadu.. Nearly 250 students are studying B.H.M.S degree and 90 staff are working in various departments.

White Memorial college of Nursing is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and Recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.

It has separate college building, laboratories, library, Multispeciality Hospital etc. The period of study is 4 ½ years. In the Multispeciality Hospital in the campus, has the following specialties General medicine, General surgery, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, E.N.T, Skin, Psychiatry, Dental, Ortho etc. White Memorial College of Physiotherapy, where nearly 150 students are studying B.P.T degree and 50 staff are working in various departments.

The college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. The college is provided with separate college buildings, furnitures, laboratory, library, equipments etc B.P.T is 4 years course with 6 months internship.

White Memorial College of Education is approved by the NCTE, Bangalore and affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli.

In addition to the above colleges, the Society is running a Matriculation school at Marthandam.

The Society is also running the following Hospitals. White Mission General Hospital at Attoor, White Memorial integrated Hospital at Marthandam, and White Mission Hospital at Panachamoodu.
