Anand wins Oscar for fifth time


Chennai: World No.1 Viswanathan Anand has won the Chess Oscar for the year 2007. This is Anand’s fifth Oscar, his first coming in 1997. More than 220 chess and sports journalists from 30 countries ranked the best players for 2007, based on tournament results. — Sports Reporter
