‘Kavacham’ for goddess

PUDUKOTTAI: The Swamprakasa Avadhutha Sadasiva Trust in Pudukottai has planned to adorn the idol of Sri Ashtaadasa Bhuja Durga Mahalakshmi at Sri Bhuvaneswari Avadutha Vidhya Peetam, here with golden ‘kavacaham.’ A communication from the Trust said that the golden ‘kavacham,’ would be made by mobilising donation from the devotees. The communication also said that a special 28-day ‘Chathurlaksha mangala maha yagnam’ will commence at the Sri Bhuvaneswari Avadutha Vidhya Peetam between May 16 and June 12. The ‘yagnam’ forms part of the ‘aradhana’ centenary celebrations of Sri Judge Swamigal.
