CUTTACK: K Appa Rao, a senior scientist of the Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO) of Hyderabad has gone into coma 24 hours ago after he had a road accident. The 59-year-old Rao, presently working as the Joint Director of Missile System Quality Assurance Department of DRDO met with the accident near Pahala, about 15 kms from here on NH-5 on Wednesday night. Rao, who was in the State for the Wednesday’s Agni-III test fire, was returning to Hyderabad by road after the successful missile test along with his colleague Raja Kanu, the Deputy Director of DRDO.
