Buses for poll duty

BANGALORE: Commuters using public transport should prepare themselves for some inconvenience on May 9 and 10 as Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) and Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will be withdrawing buses from regular routes for poll duty.

Nearly 1,500 KSRTC buses and 800 BMTC buses are being drawn for poll duty. However, both the corporations have assured the public that minimum inconvenience will be caused to them, though the frequency of services on particular routes will be less.

Normal services will resume from May 11.
