Woman found hanging

NEW DELHI: A married woman allegedly hanged herself in her house at Anand Vihar here on Wednesday under mysterious circumstances.

According to the police, 30-year-old Sanjay, who owns a cycle repair shop, took his wife Kavita (27) to Hedgewar Hospital on Wednesday evening where she was declared brought dead. He later told the police that he had found Kavita hanging from the ceiling fan when he returned from work.

The woman’s parents, however, alleged that Sanjay had been harassing Kavita as she could bear a child.
