CHENNAI: Chennai Metrowater will organise open house meetings between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday at its area offices and adjacent urbanised area office. At the meetings, consumers can lodge their complaints about water supply and sewage removal and also get their doubts regarding water and sewerage taxes and water charges clarified, said an official release. The area offices are: Kodungaiyur and Tondiarpet – I, Royapuram and Washermenpet – II, Perambur and Vyasarpadi – III, Kilpauk and Ayanavaram – IV, Anna Nagar and Mogappair – V, Chepauk and Triplicane – VI, Chetpet and Nungambakkam – VII, T. Nagar and Kodambakkam – VIII, Saidapet and Kotturpuram – IX, Alwarpet and Mylapore – X A, Adyar, Thiruvanmiyur, Velachery-X B. The adjacent urbanised area office of Chennai Metrowater for Mogappair East/West and Anna Nagar Extension I and II is on T.S.Krishna Nagar Main Road, Mogappair. Superintending Engineers will attend the meetings at the area offices coming under their zones. During the open house meetings last month, 87 complaints were received regarding water supply and sewage disposal and 72 of them have been rectified, the release said.
