TIRUNELVELI: After a long gap of 14 years, ‘Gemini Circus’, one of the biggest circus teams in Asia with 300 members, including 10 Russian gymnasts, has camped at the Exhibition Ground here to enthrall the Nellaiites for about a month from May 9. After coming to existence in 1951, the ‘Gemini Circus’ has won the hearts of not only Indians of major towns across the country, but also the people of Dubai, Tanzania and Singapore during the past 58 years. Eighty girls, 10 Russian gymnasts, six elephants, six camels, 25 German dogs and 12 Australian parrots will display their breathtaking skills for about 150 minutes under the huge exhibition area, having a capacity of over 4,000. The show timings are 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
