Baba Santa Singh dead

Patiala: Controversial Nihang sect chief Baba Santa Singh died here on Thursday after prolonged illness, his relatives said.

Baba Santa Singh was excommunicated from the Sikh community in 1984, along with the then Union Home Minister Buta Singh, for organising voluntary labour to reconstruct the building of the Akal Takht which was damaged during Operation Bluestar . —PTI
