KDP campaign

PATHANAMTHITTA: People’s Democratic Party chairman Abdul Nasir Maudany will inaugurate the valedictory meet of the State-level campaign of the Kerala Dalit Panthers (KDP) on land, employment and development issues facing the State, at the private bus stand here on May 26. Addressing a prèss conference here on Friday, KDP leaders P.A. Prasad, Bijoy David and Jyotish Perumpulickal urged the government to allot the ‘kaayal’ and ‘puncha’ lands to farm workers so as to boost Kerala’s food production. They also called for job reservation for Dalits at Techno Park, Info Park, Special Economic Zones, Smart City and Cyber City. The KDP campaign was launched on January 26 from Ernakulam.
