PM to present award to Agni team

HYDERABAD: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will present the DRDO Award for path-breaking research in missile technology to Agni programme director and Advanced Systems Laboratory director Avinash Chander on May 12 in Delhi. The award, announced for the Agni team recently, is being given for the successful test-firing of long-range missile Agni-III on April 12 last year. –Special Correspondent
