Governor, wife visit RTO

DEHRA DUN: Uttarakhand Governor B. L. Joshi sprang a surprise on Friday when he went along with his wife to the RTO here to have their driving licences renewed.

They fulfilled all the formalities required for the renewal of their driving licences. Asked why he chose to do it himself instead of entrusting one of his officials with the task, Mr. Joshi said he did so out of his respect for the rules. - PTI
