CHANDIGARH: Campaigning for the three by-elections in Haryana on May 22 has intensified with leaders of the Congress, the Haryana Janhit Congress, the Indian National Lok Dal and the Bharatiya Janata Party addressing scores of election meetings daily in Adampur, Gohana and Indri constituencies. Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda while criticising the former Congress MLA and Haryana Janhit Congress nominee Dharampal Singh Malik asserted on Friday that even though the MLA had never cooperated with him during the past three years, the State Government had carried out development activities in the region. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister and INLD leader Om Parkash Chautala promised to enhance the old age pension to Rs.700 per month if his party comes to power in the State.
