Two girls kill alcoholic father

TIRUNELVELI: The Thisaiyanvilai police have arrested two teenage girls for allegedly murdering their father.

The police said that A. Antony Viyagappan (50), an alcoholic from Rammathapuram under Thisaiyanvilai police station limits, used to beat his daughters, A. Sahaya Eskalin Kanaga (19) and A. Sahaya Sangeetha (15), everyday.

When he beat the sisters on Thursday night also, Eskalin and Sangeetha allegedly attacked their father with a stick in which he died on the spot.
