HYDERABAD: Two Hyderabad-based sailors — Arun Mehta and Rahul Balasubrahmanyam — have founded a non-profit organisation ‘Olympic Sports Development Foundation’ with the objective of creating awareness and promoting Olympic disciplines across the country. In a statement here, the sailors said that they were keen to spread the principles of Olympics amongst the masses and make a sincere effort to let them enjoy sports without discrimination of any kind and in true Olympic spirit. The Foundation proposes to conduct a few coaching camps for youth in the coming months, and also organise a few events to raise funds for their activities.
