Three killed in road accident

Hisar: Three persons were killed and six others injured when a truck hit another vehicle here on Friday, police said.

A jeep carrying nine persons was on its way to Hasangarh village when a mini-truck hit it while trying to overtake near Sadar police station here, they said. The jeep immediately dashed against a tree killing Bimla (40) and Chhetu Ram (50) on the spot, police said, adding that the injured including the driver were admitted to a civil hospital where Kalo Devi succumbed to injuries.

The bodies were handed over to the relatives after autopsy. A case was registered against the driver of the mini-truck.
