Tweleve bonded labourers rescued

MUZAFFARNAGAR: Twelve bonded labourers hailing from this district have been rescued from a brick kiln in Punjab by the UP police, a senior official said here on Friday.

Acting on a tip-off, a special team of the UP police raided a brick kiln in Ropar district of Punjab on Thursday and rescued 12 labourers who were living in inhuman condition, said District Magistrate Subhash Sharma.
