NEW DELHI: The power situation in the Capital was “stable” on Friday even though load-shedding was carried out in some parts of the city. According to Power Department officials, the State utility had to overdraw 260 MW to 270 MW of power to meet the demand.

The maximum load on the system was 3,435 MW at 4-06 p.m. and Delhi’s own power generation stood at 1,249 MW.
