Minor reshuffle in Delhi Police

New Delhi: A minor reshuffle was effected in Delhi Police on Friday by promoting an Additional Commissioner to the rank of Joint Commissioner.

Additional Commissioner of Armed Police S Nithiyanandam was promoted as Joint Commissioner and will be in charge of Planning and Implementation, a Raj Nivas release said.

Mr. Nithiyanandam is a 1986-batch IPS officer.

Neeraj Thakur, a 1994-batch officer who was transferred from Goa, has been assigned charge of Special Branch as its Deputy Commissioner of Police.
