Burglars decamp with cash

NEW DELHI: Burglars struck at Central Market in Lajpat Nagar on Friday morning and made off with cash and electronic goods worth lakhs.
The incident came to light in the morning when the shopkeepers found the locks of their shops broken. The burglars, who struck after the security guard left early in the morning, broke into an advertisement agency and a fabrics shop located in the same building.
Eleven computers, two laptops, a camera and Rs.10,000 in cash were reportedly found stolen from the ad agency situated on the first floor of the building. Cash and valuables stolen from the second floor fabrics shop are yet to be estimated.
A case has been registered and the security guard is being interrogated.
