Detonators seized

MADURAI: At least 83,500 small detonators and suspected explosive materials/chemicals were seized from a boat at Akkalmadam near Pamban in Ramanathapuram district on Thursday. Following intelligence inputs, the local police checked the boat that was anchored along the shore and found the explosive substances. The boat owner has been taken into custody. — Special Correspondent
