CBI probe sought into ex-MP’s land deals

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee president Rita Bahuguna Joshi on Saturday demanded a CBI probe into the ‘illegal’ land acquisitions of the former MP Akhilesh Das in Lucknow and Noida.

Dr. Joshi told a press conference here that she had received complaints that Gram Samaj land was involved in the deals and a senior official in the Secretariat ‘colluded’ with him.She also demanded an inquiry by the State government.
