Hubli-Dharwad
HUBLI: The Hubli police seized a car and recovered illicit liquor during a raid here on Friday. Two persons were arrested in this connection during the raid. The value of the seized goods has been estimated at Rs. 5.18 lakh. The names of the arrested have been given as Yallappa Krishnasa Habib and Pramod Vishwanathsa Baddi, residents of Hubli. Two more persons accused in the case were absconding, the police said. A case has been registered in the Gokul Road police station. Investigation is on.
