MP T. Ratnabai giving away health card to a tribal woman at a mega health camp at Rampachodavaram on Saturday. Rampachodavaram: Rajya Sabha member T. Ratnabai has said the State Government has been giving top priority to health in Agency areas and they are ready to provide medical services with top doctors from Corporate hospitals. She inaugurated a special medical camp for the physically challenged persons at local junior college here on Saturday. Doctors from Care, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam, attended the camp and specially cardiologists were also present in the camp. Braving the scorching heat, tribals from interior areas came to the camp in special buses. Yellavaram MLA Babu Ramesh and MP Ratnabai visited all counters along with ITDA project officer Yogita Rana and Sub-Collector Kannan Manik Raj to see the arrangements. They intervened many times to pacify the physically challenged tribals who rushed towards food counters in the afternoon. A large number of physically challenged persons were seen standing in queues to get disabled certificates and identity cards. Police, MPDOs, MROs, PROs and other revenue staff along with volunteers took pains in making arrangements for the camp. Sarpanches, MPTC, ZPTCs of all 7 mandals in Agency have attended the camp.
