For effective polling: Elections officials at a training programme in Belgaum on Saturday. Belgaum: The office of the district election officer on Saturday conducted a training programme for election officials. A meeting of presiding officers, polling officers and other staff will be held at the District Stadium here on May 16. Meanwhile, the process of issuing elector’s photo identity card to voters is on in the district. The voters can obtain EPICs by producing proof of their identity and age as mentioned in passport, driving licence, PAN card, identity cards issued by institutions, land records showing photograph, freedom fighters’ identity card, ration cards, etc.
