Boycott of elections

Chamarajanagar: The polling was peaceful in the four Assembly segments of the district barring a few incidents of boycotting of elections by the people living in the villages near M.M. Hills. Those living in Indiganaththa, Padesanaththa, Noodhere, Nagamalai and Madhaanekere boycotted the polls in protest against the “failure” of the Government to provide basic amenities to them.
