ANANTAPUR: Movement of leopards in the surroundings of Marutla-2 village in Kudair mandal for the last 10 days has created a scare among the villagers. Two persons returning to the village from neighbouring Penakacherla on two-wheeler had a lucky escape from the possible attack by leopards on Friday night. In a similar incident in the same area 10 days ago Ramanjaneyulu, also returning from Penakarcherla to Marutla-2, had a similar escape. Two leopards chased his two-wheeler. Forest officials have put the surrounding villages on alert.
