Curbs on sale of liquor in south Goa

PANAJI: The Goa Government on Friday issued a notification directing the liquor shops in Canacona and Sanguem taluks in south Goa district to remain closed from 5 p.m. on May 14 to 6 p.m. on May 16 and in border taluks of Pernem, Bicholim and Sattari in north Goa district to remain closed from 5 p.m. on May 20 to 6 p.m. on May 22 in view of elections to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.
