MALAPPURAM: One of the three Bengali labourers missing from Pulikkal, near here, after the murder of two Bengali brothers has been detained on reaching home by the local people. Police here confirmed the reports that Haran Rai was detained in the Baktinagar police station limits in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. A team of police officers led by Circle Inspector A.P. Chandran has left for West Bengal. Police have sounded an alert for the two other labourers, Supal and Binu Sarkar. Police said both of them were aged between 20 and 25 years. The bodies of the brothers, Ranjan and Gogan Biswas, were recovered from an unfinished house at Pulikkal, near Kondotty, in Malappuram district.
