Special train to Nagercoil

CHENNAI: Southern Railway is operating a special train from Chennai Egmore to Nagercoil on May 12 to clear the extra rush of passengers. The train (0611) will leave Egmore at 11.15 pm on May 12 and reach Nagercoil at 2.15 pm the next day. The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3tier, 7 sleeper class, 6 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The train will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Tindivanam, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachchi and Tirunelveli. Advance reservation for the above train will commence on May 11, according to a railway release. — Special Correspondent
