CHENNAI: Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), along with the Centre for International Trade and Security (CITS) of University of Georgia, USA, is organising the Dual-Use Industry workshop on “Promoting Technology-embedded Trade Co-operation: Explaining Indian and International Strategic Trade Regulation” on May 22 and 23. A press release from P. Murari, adviser to the president of FICCI, said “it is desired to institute global standards of strategic (dual-use or high-technology dual use) trade management as the Indian industry gets rapidly integrated into the global matrix of technology embedded commerce.”
