Woman thrown out of moving train

Staff Reporter

ELURU: A woman passenger, Karri Anantha Lakshmi of Hyderabad, reportedly sustained critical head injuries when she was thrown out of a moving train by a TTE from a moving train at Nidadavole in West Godavari district on Friday. She was battling for life in a hospital in Rajahmundry.

She boarded the Hyderabad-bound Gowthami Express at Mandapet with her two children. The TTE asked her to get down from the reserved bogie as she had only a general ticket. Her offer to pay sleeper charges was rejected and she was thrown out.
