Naidu has lost credibility: Minister

HYDERABAD: Agriculture Minister N. Raghuveera Reddy has said that the Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu was so desperate to return to power that he was making promises that cannot be fulfilled.

Taking a dig at the on going ‘Mee Kosam’, the mass contact programme launched by the TDP chief, Mr. Raghuveera Reddy at a press conference on Saturday, said Mr. Naidu was promising the moon to the people and trying to project himself as their saviour. “If he had at least fulfilled some of the promises, which he is making every day during his nine year stint as the Chief Minister, people would have believed him,” he remarked.

He termed as strange the TRS president K. Chandrasekhara Rao backing evangelist K.A. Paul. He wondered what prompted the TRS chief to join hands with the evangelist, who had levelled several false allegations against Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
