C.P. Mammu awards announced

KOCHI: The State Hindi Pracharak Samithi on Friday announced the C.P. Mammu awards.

K.M. Samuel of Ramanattukara in Kozhikode and T.S. Divakar of Perumbavur won the Hindi Seva Ratnapuraskar. K.C. George of Ernakulam and A.A. Baburaj of Kumbalam bagged the Khadi Pracharakratna award.

Moulavi Mohammed Aslam won the national integration award while Vijayan Thomas, chairman of Jai Hind TV, bagged the Samaj Seva Ratnapuraskar.

M.K. Moosakunji of Kasaragod won the Arogyasevaratna award.

Fathima Rahman, former judge, won the Vanitha Samajseva Ratnapuraskar.

The award comprising a citation and plaque will be presented to the winners at a function to be held at ‘Sadgamaya’, the residence of V.R. Krishna Iyer, former Supreme Court judge, here on May 25.

The Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy will distribute the awards.
