Man murdered

A 35-year-old Mohd. Ghouse was murdered by unidentified persons at West Marredpally on Friday. Assailants attacked Ghouse with iron rods and killed him. Police said reasons behind Ghouse’s murder were yet to be ascertained.

Private employee commits suicide

A private employee hanged himself to death at his house at Gopinagar in Chandanagar on Friday. N. Rambabu, 21, took the drastic step after his parents allegedly admonished him for consuming liquor, according to police.

Thieves took away gold ornaments weighing 420 grams and Rs. 36,000 from a house at Anantharamnagar in Amberpet during daytime on Saturday.

The offenders broke into the rented portion of businessman Narender Reddy on the second floor of the building, collected the property from the almirah and fled, the Amberpet police said.

While Reddy went out on his business work, his wife was away at her parents’ house when the burglary was committed.
