Programme for Vidharbha farmers

CHENNAI: The National Agro Foundation conducted a five-day residential programme for Vidharbha farmers from May 5 to 10 at Illedu in Kancheepuram district.

Fourteen farmers, including four women, who were part of the self-help groups in the Vidharbha region, attended the programme, which dealt with modified land preparation, new farm machinery and their operations.

The programme was sponsored by the Rotary International District 3140, Maharashtra.
