Transfer of registry cancelled

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has cancelled the transfer of registry of 9.2 cents of land forming part of the complex in which the Big Bazaar shopping mall is located in the city. A release from the office of the Revenue Minister said here on Saturday that the decision was taken on the basis of investigations conducted by the Revenue Vigilance Deputy Collector. The investigation was ordered on the basis of a complaint filed by the All India Youth Federation Thiruvananthapuram district committee.The officials who facilitated the transfer of registry had been suspended from service. –Special Correspondent
